Sizing InformationIf you are ordering a made-to-measure bracelet or bangle or wish to have an existing bracelet adjusted to fit you then please use the information below to help you determine your correct size. You can either let me know your measurement (in centimetres please) in the comments box during checkout or email me at info@daisychainjewellery.co.uk after placing you order. Please note that it is best to contact me if you wish to have an existing bracelet adjusted before you buy it to ensure that it can be adjusted as needed. Wrist measurement Use a measuring tape (preferably not a fabric one as these stretch) to measure your wrist at the wrist bone. Do not make your measurement too tight or your bracelet may be too small. If you have a preference for a slightly loose or a snugly fitting bracelet then please let me know. The adult woman's wrist measurements usually range from 15cm to 21cm (6" to 8.5") but I can make bracelets outside these measurements. Bangle The easiest way of finding out your bangle size is to measure the inside diameter of an existing bangle that fits you. Alternatively, hold your hand as if you are putting a bangle on i.e. fingers stretched out, thumb tucked under. Use a measuring tape to measure across the widest part of your hand. Do not make your measurement too tight or your bangle may be too tight a fit over your hand. Bangles are designed to be worn loose on the wrist and the average bangle diameter is 6.5cm (2.5"). Bangles are meant to feel a bit tight as they go on to ensure that they do not come off accidentally, and so if your measurement is about 7.5cm (3") then a 6.5cm bangle should fit nicely. Please note that I will make oval bangles slightly wider than the measurement you supply to account for the shape of the jewellery. |
